Blue Eye Makeup

So when Im not making lunches and dinner, taking kids to school, housework or playing taxi..... Im playing with makeup. It is one of my quilty obessions that I can't let go of. The colours, the transformations, the sparkles... I love everything about it. Don't get me wrong, Im all for the "natural" beauty kind of thing....but for me my "natural" beauty stays indoors and makeup is put on when I step out into the world. I like to be able to cover any evidence of sleepless nights, hormanal breakouts and feeling human. I don't really ever get the time to do the whole eyeshadow thing with amazing colours, cut crease, blending and so forth. So when the opportunity eventuates my favourite colour to play with is blue. Blue eyeshadow. Blue eyeliner. Blue glitter. I love blue on the eyes.

One of my favourite blue eye products is NYX eye glitter liner. It is a beautiful touch when you have finished your look to line over your eyeliner and lashes with this. The colour is devine and really makes your eyes just sparkle, I love it.

Another product that I use time and time again is the Coastal Scents blue gel eyeliner. The colour payoff is brilliant and this baby just lasts all day long. Long wearing, no smudging, no flaking, a 10 out of 10.

What are your favourite eye colours/ products that you play with??

My everyday eye makeup look

This would have to be my "go to" look every day. It is so simple yet so effective. Black eyeliner, black mascara, no eyeshadow. Because your not wearing colours on your eyes you can team it up with a bright lip and get away with it or you can stick with neutrals, either way it looks great.

My holy grail eyeliner is the Revlon Colorstay in the liquid. It is AMAAAAAAAAAAAAZING! It does not smudge or fade. And with the pen like applicator you can have it as thick or thin as you like. I adore this product.

My mascara of choice at the moment is the Covergirl Lash Blast. I actually prefer the plastic brush applicators better, I feel for me, I can get to more of my lashes with it. This mascara does not flake, smudge etc..... it is fantastic!

What is your "go to" look??
